Description

This Health Planning Unit has been developed as a resource to assist project teams in the planning, design and construction of a Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC). It should be read in conjunction with generic planning requirements and Standard Components described in Parts A, B, C & D of these Guidelines, the PEC Operational Model of Care
Guideline (refer below) and the Health Facility Guideline for Acute Adult Mental Health Units. The latter provides some of the more detailed information on design.
