Description

The National Health Policies and Development Plan 1999 – 2003 is the third of such
document to be produced by the Ministry of Health since mid-1980s. It has two
principle objectives. Firstly, to improve the national health status, and secondly, to
strengthen the Ministry of Health’s capacity to manage developmental changes within
the health sector over the next five to ten years.
