he Office of Mental Health (OMH) is pleased to release the updated Ninth Edition (9th) of the Patient Safety Standards Guidelines. The purpose of these guidelines is to provide hospitals with a selection of materials, fixtures, and hardware that OMH has reviewed and either supports or rejects their use within psychiatric inpatient units.
