The purpose of the OASAS Prevention Strategic Plan is to focus statewideprevention efforts on a limited number of data-driven priorities, where measurable
change can be achieved at the state and community levels.
The Plan will align the primary stakeholder groups’ prevention efforts and
resources with the identified priority areas.
The Plan will guide prevention decision making and policy development at the
state, county, and provider levels.
