The Equal Opportunities (Persons with Disability) Act (EOA) intends to:
a) recognise and safeguard the rights of persons with disability with a view to ending, in a reasonable manner, discrimination on the basis of disability;
b) to legally establish the Kummissjoni Nazzjonali Persuni b’DiΩabilità or KNPD (National Commission Persons With Disability) which, among other things, is obliged to ensure that the EOA is implemented to the fullest extent possible
