The focus of the policy is the improvement of the health of youth by promoting healthy development.The policy comprises of goals and activities which will contribute to establishing a responsible system of health care which appreciates youth; it promotes programs and services which take into account gender equity, it is youth-friendly, it promotes improved access of youth to health care system services including vulnerable groups and young women, it contributes to the overall improvement of youth health. The Policy is an instrument of mobilizing not only one health sector, but the entire society as a partner in preservation of youth health, solving problems in overcoming health challenges that young people face and prevention of health risk behaviors.
