The aim of this policy is to;

Establish one holistic, evidence-based policy framework explicitly aimed at guiding decision-makers through the next ten years.

Increasing access to and utilization of a comprehensive package of quality health and social welfare services of proven effectiveness, delivered close to the community, endowed
with the necessary resources and supported by effective systems;

Making health and social welfare services more responsive to people’s needs, demands and expectations by transferring management and decision-making to lower administration levels

Making health care and social protection available to all people in Liberia, regardless of
their position in society, and at a cost that is affordable to the Country.
