El Plan Nacional de Desarrollo Humano (2012-2016) reafirma el objetivo del Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de mejorar las condiciones de vida de los nicaragüenses, especialmente los más pobres. La Estrategia del plan está construida con base a doce lineamientos que combinan la continuidad de políticas que han transformado el país a partir de 2007, con la incorporación de nuevas prioridades cuyo propósito es atender a las necesidades de transformación productiva y social del país.

The 2012-2016 National Plan on Human Development reaffirms the purpose of the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity to improve the life conditions of Nicaraguans, especially the poorest among them. The Plan’s strategy is made of twelve regulations that combine policies that have transformed the country since 2007, with the incorporation of new priorities aiming at meeting the productive and social transformation needs in the country.
