La ley 238 establece “La Carta de Derechos de las Personas con Impedimentos” a fin de ratificar la política pública del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico a favor del ejercicio más amplio de los derechos de las personas con impedimentos y establecer tales derechos y los deberes del Estado. La ley contiene dieciséis artículos y fue publicada en agosto de 2004.The Act No. 238 establishes the “Charter of Rights for People with Disabilities” in order to ratify the public policy of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico for a wider exercise of the rights of people with disabilities and enforce such rights and duties of the State.
