Description

This Act defines public policy for persons with disabilities in order to ensure them equal to all other citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic of opportunities in the implementation of the rights and freedoms of the removal of restrictions on their ability to live, to create favorable conditions to enable persons with disabilities to lead a full life, actively participate in the economic, political and cultural life, as well as to fulfill their civic duties under the Declaration on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations, the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, the generally recognized principles and norms of international law and international agreements, which entered in accordance with the law in force, to which the Kyrgyz Republic.

This Act provides safeguards for the protection and assistance provided to persons with disabilities, as well as measures to protect public health, the prevention of disability and the creation of conditions for the integration of people with disabilities.
