Description

This National strategy Aims to fulfill the following;

1- Compliment and extend the International Initiative for prevention of blindness, and co-coordinate activities between =the global, regional and local establishments.

2- Conduct awareness campaigns to inform and educate people about blindness, visual impairment and means of prevention.

3- Procure funds for prevention programs and support activities of the committee.

4- Strengthen existing prevention programs and support future programs.

5- Collect available data, statistics and information, and encourage research, studies, and surveys related to blindness.

6- Organize seminars, workshops and courses on prevention of blindness.

7- Synergize and strengthen efforts by working with groups and organizations with similar aims and goals of the Committee.
