Description
A presente lei tem por objecto a definição de regras e princípios jurídicos sobre a protecção e o desenvolvimento integral da criança; visa reforçar e harmonizar os instrumentos legais e institucionais destinados a assegurar os direitos da criança; e tem como finalidade estender e promover os direitos da criança, tal como se encontram definidos na Constituição da República de Angola, na Convenção sobre os Direitos da Criança, na Carta Africana sobre os Direitos e o Bem-Estar da Criança e em demais legislação aplicável.This law aims at defining legal rules and principles for the protection and development of children, while it reinforces and harmonizes the legal and institutional instruments to ensure children's rights, and extends and promotes children's rights, as they are defined in the Constitution of the Republic of Angola, the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child and other applicable legislation.
