Description

The program "Back Home," created by the Ministry of Health, is a program of social reintegration of people affected by mental disorders, who were hospitalised for long periods of time. This strategy is in line with recommendations from PAHO and WHO mental health with a view to gradually reversing a model of care focused on reference to admission to specialized hospitals for a model of community-based care, consolidated territorial services and daily attention.
