Description

The present law shall particularly ensure the following principles and rights:
a) The right of the child to life, survival, and development in a supportive family environment, to enjoy various preventive measures, and to be protected from all forms of violence, or injury, or physical, mental or sexual abuse, or negligence, or negligent treatment, or any other forms of maltreatment or exploitation.
b) The right to be protected from all forms of discrimination among children, on the basis of birth place, parents, sex, religion, race, disability, or on any other status, and ensure equal opportunities among children to benefit from all rights.
c) The right of the child who is able to form his own opinions, to access information which empowers him to form and express such opinions, and to be heard in all matters related to him, including judicial and administrative procedures, in accordance with the procedures specified by the Law.

The act provides for child rights, birth registration of child, healthcare, social welfare and education, care of mother, rights of disabled children and regarding juveniles in conflict with law.


يضمن هذا القانون المبادئ و الحقوق التالية :

(أ) حق الطفل في الحياة والبقاء، والتطور في بيئة أسرية داعمة والتمتع بكافة الإجراءات الوقائة ، الحماية من جميع أشكال العنف، الإيذاء البدني أو العقلي و النفسي أو الجنسي أو إهمال بالمعاملة ، أو أي أشكال أخرى من إساءة المعاملة أوالإستغلال.
(ب) الحق في الحماية من جميع أشكال التمييز بين الأطفال على أساس مكان الولادة، والآباء، أو الجنس، أو الدين، أو العرق، أو الإعاقة، أو أي وضع آخر، وضمان تكافؤ الفرص بين الأطفال في الاستفادة من جميع الحقوق.
(ج) حق الطفل القادر على تكوين آرائه الخاصة، في الحصول على المعلومات التي تمكنه من تشكيل والتعبير عن هذه الآراء، والإستماع إليه في جميع المسائل المتعلقة به، بما في ذلك الإجراءات القضائية والإدارية، وفقًا للإجراءات التي يحددها القانون.

ينص القانون على حقوق الطفل وتسجيل المواليد من الأطفال والرعاية الصحية والرعاية الإجتماعية والتعليم ورعاية الأم، وحقوق الأطفال المعاقين وما يتعلق بالأحداث في النزاعات القانونية.
