Ulusal Ruh Sağlığı Eylem Planı hazırlanırken Sağlık Bakanlığının 2006 yılında yayınladığı Ulusal Ruh Sağlığı Politika Metni esas alınmıştır. Bu Eylem Planı’nın amacı; merkeze bireylerin ihtiyacını alan ruh sağlığı hizmetlerinin, uygun yöntemle yeterli bir biçimde verilmesini sağlayan bir hizmet ağının kurulmasıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda hazırlanan Plan ile ruhsal hastalığı olan kişilerin tedavi ve bakımlarında hasta merkezli yaklaşımın temel alınması, toplum temelli ruh sağlığı hizmet modelinin ülkemizde yerleşmesi hedeflenmiştir.The National Mental Health Action Plan is based on the National Mental Health Policy which was published by the Turkish Ministry of Health in 2006. The purpose of this Action Plan; To attend to the need of individuals receiving mental health services. To develop a patient-centered approach and a community-based model for the treatment and care of people with mental illness.
