Prezenta lege stabileste politica statului privind controlul si prevenirea consumului abuziv de alcool, consumului ilicit de droguri si de alte substante psihotrope, reducerea si eradicarea acestor consumuri, educarea populatiei in spiritul abstinentei si al unui mod de viata sanatos, precum si inlaturarea consecintelor dependentei fizice si/sau psihice fata de acestea.

This law establishes the state policy on the control and prevention of the abuse of alcohol, illicit drugs and other psychotropic substances, aiming to reduce and eradicate these addictions, to promote abstinence and to educate people on healthy lifestyles, as well as eliminating of their physical and mental consequences of physical and / or mental towards them.
