Bu Kanunun amacı; engelliliğin önlenmesi, engellilerin sağlık, eğitim, rehabilitasyon, istihdam, bakım ve sosyal güvenliğine ilişkin sorunlarının çözümü ile her bakımdan gelişmelerini ve önlerindeki engelleri kaldırmayı sağlayacak tedbirleri alarak topluma katılımlarını sağlamak ve bu hizmetlerin koordinasyonu için gerekli düzenlemeleri yapmaktır

The objective of this Law is to prevent disability, to enable the disabled people to join the society by taking measures to improve their problems regarding health, education, rehabilitation, employment, care and social security and the removal of the obstacles they face and to make the necessary arrangements for the coordination of these services.
