Description

The vision of this plan is to develop an effective prevention system that is committed to the reduction of substance abuse and its related consequences. Nebraska’s Five Year Strategic Prevention Plan will support Department of Behavioral health’s overarching strategic goals and will focus statewide prevention efforts on a prioritized set of behaviors. The plan will guide prevention prioritization, decision-making, and policy development at the State, Region and community level.
