이 법은 국가건강검진에 관한 국민의 권리의무와 국가 및 지방자치단체의 책임을 정하고 국가건강검진 의 계획과 시행에 관한 기본적인 사항을 규정함으로써 국민의 보건 및 복지의 증진에 이바지함을 목적으로 한다.The purpose of this Act is to prescribe the rights and duties of nationals and the obligations of the State and local governments with regard to national health examinations, and to provide for basic matters on planning and conducting national health examinations, thereby contributing to the improvement of the health and welfare of the nation.
