이 법은 장애인, 노인, 임산부 등이 생활을 영위함에 있어 안전하고 편리하게 시설 및 설비를 이용하고 정보에 접근하도록 보장함으로써 이들의 사회활동참여와 복지증진에 이바지함을 목적으로 한다.The purpose of this Act is to guarantee safe and convenient means for persons with disabilities, elderly people, pregnant women, etc. to use facilities and equipment and access information in their lives, thereby contributing to the increase of their participation in social relationships and activities and advancement of their welfare.
