이 법은 농어촌 등 보건의료 취약지역의 주민 등에게 보건의료를 효율적으로 제공함으로써 국민이 고르게 의료혜택을 받게 하고 국민의 보건을 향상시키는 데에 이바지함을 목적으로 한다.The purpose of this Act is to ensure that the people receive uniform medical care services and to contribute to improving the health of the people by providing efficient public health care services to residents in medically underserved areas, such as agricultural and fishing villages.
