Durch die in diesem Gesetz vorgesehenen Maßnahmen sollen die Vertretung der Anliegen der älteren Generation gegenüber den politischen Entscheidungsträgern auf Bundesebene und die Beratung, Information und Betreuung von Senioren durch Seniorenorganisationen sichergestellt und Maßnahmen zur Wahrung und Weiterentwicklung der Lebensqualität von Senioren gefördert werden.
