Likuma mērķis ir novērst vai mazināt invaliditātes risku personām ar prognozējamu invaliditāti un mazināt invaliditātes sekas personām ar invaliditāti. Likums nosaka kārtību, kādā veicama prognozējamas invaliditātes un invaliditātes ekspertīze, kā arī invaliditātes riska un invaliditātes seku mazināšanai nepieciešamos atbalsta pasākumus.The purpose of this Law is to prevent or reduce the risk of disability for persons with a predictable disability and reduce the consequences of a disability for persons with a disability. This Law prescribes the procedure by which a predictable disability and disability expert-examination shall be performed, as well as the aid measures necessary to reduce the risk of a disability and the consequences of a disability.
