Description

The comprehensive mental health plan in Andalusia 2003-2007 is addressed to achieve 5 objectives, developed through 9 lines of action. These lines of action include actions to improve interventions in mental health and so improve the health care. This plan aims to address the needs that Andalusian population has in regard to mental health. In order to do that it is necessary to re orientate the available resources and a higher commitment of health professionals and society towards mental health and mental health patients.

El Plan Integral de Salud Mental de Andalucía 2003-2007 (I PISMA) se orienta a la consecución de cinco objetivos generales, que se desarrollan a través de nueve líneas de actuación. Estas nueve líneas de acción contienen las actuaciones para mejorar la atención sanitaria prestada a los ciudadanos y lograr la transformación de los dispositivos de atención a la salud mental. Este Plan Integral de Salud Mental pretende dar respuesta a las necesidades sanitarias que en materia de salud mental tiene la población andaluza. Para ello es necesaria la reorientación de los dispositivos asistenciales de salud mental; una mayor coordinación y complementariedad con el espacio sociosanitario, y un mayor compromiso de los profesionales y de la ciudadanía ante la enfermedad y los enfermos.
