Este ley dar un marco normativo que garantice los mecanismos legales para el ejercicio pleno de los derechos reconocidos en la Constitucion Politica y los Tratados Internacionales vigentes de las personas adultas mayores para mejorar su calidad de vida y que se integren plenamente al desarrollo social, economico, politico y cultural, contribuyendo al respeto de su dignidad.

This law provides a regulatory framework to ensure the legal mechanisms for the full realization of the rights of older people recognized in the Political Constitution and existing international treaties to improve their quality of life and to fully integrate them in the social, economic, political development and cultural spheres, whilst contributing to respect for their dignity.
