Esta Ley regula la proteccion integral de los Derechos de las y los jovenes en el Ecuador, para lograr su pleno dessarrollo de pais; con este fin la Ley regula los mecanismos para hacer efectivos sus derechos, garantizarlos y protegerlos conforme a la Constitucion de la Republica.

This Act provides for the comprehensive protection of the rights of youth in Ecuador, in order to achieve the full development of the country; to this end the Act provides the mechanisms to enforce their rights, secure them and protect them under the Constitution of the Republic.
