A Política da Juventude consiste na preparação das novas geracoes de mocambicanos de forma a fazer deles homens e mulheres com iniciativa criadora, competentes e capazes de assumir tarefas no ambito da reconstrucao e desenvolvimento do pais. Deste modo, o governo define como sua tarefa prioritaria e permanente o estabelecimento e a consolidacao de mecanismos que lhe permitam ter o conhecimento real do potencial da juventude.
