This Plan sets as a priority to complete and consolidate the Network of Mental Health Service of La Rioja, in order to improve comprehensive care to mental health, prevailing the community and bio psychosocial approach to mental disorders, which is consistent with the WHO health concept, the Strategy on Mental health of the National health System and the model that initiated the psychiatric reform in Spain in 1985.El presente Plan fija como objetivo prioritario completar y consolidar la Red de Salud Mental del Servicio Riojano de Salud, con el fin de mejorar la atención integral a la salud mental, prevaleciendo el enfoque comunitario y el abordaje biopsicosocial del trastorno mental, en consonancia con el concepto de salud que promulga la OMS, la Estrategia en Salud Mental del Sistema Nacional de Salud y tal y como apostaba el modelo de reforma psiquiátrica iniciado en España en el año 1985.
