Finalidad del Programa
· Favorecer el desarrollo de la promoción de la salud y la atención primaria de la salud para adultos mayores en el sistema de salud.
· Promover el pleno goce y ejercicio de los derechos reconocidos por la Constitución Argentina y por los tratados internacionales vigentes, respecto a la salud de las personas mayores, los ancianos y las personas mayores con discapacidad.
· Promover el desarrollo de servicios integrados para la vejez frágil y dependiente.
· Influir en los prestadores de salud acerca de los programas y estrategias de promoción y prevención destinados a los adultos mayores.
