Description

Los grandes objetivos que se persiguen con el Plan son los siguientes:
> Analizar los procesos de envejecimiento, en su vertiente social y demográfica, en la región de Murcia y las consecuencias que puedan derivarse para la situación y necesidades de atención de las personas mayores.
> Afrontar las nuevas situaciones de necesidad que se les plantean a las personas mayores como consecuencia del incremento de la longevidad y de los cambios sociales de nuestro entorno, y establecer el conjunto de recursos adecuado.
> Favorecer la protección de los derechos de las personas mayores y procurar que la prestación de los servicios se ajuste a los criterios de calidad exigidos en las normas y programas vigentes.
> Ordenar los recursos y actuaciones existentes, lo que supone una tipificación de los servicios con su correspondiente respaldo normativo.
> Proporcionar herramientas que posibiliten el conocimiento actualizado y permanente de las demandas de las personas mayores y de los recursos existentes.

> Coping with the new situations of need faced by the elderly as a result of increased longevity and social changes of our environment, and establish the appropriate set of resources.
> Encourage the protection of the rights of older people and ensuring that service delivery meets the required quality criteria of the standards and programs.
> Assess existing resources and actions, in a classification of services with their corresponding policy support.
> Provide tools that enable the current and ongoing demands of older people and knowledge of the existing resources.
