Description

The regional scheme of medico-social and social organization describes for the next five years the main policy and strategic direction of the Regional Health Agency. This document was developed in collaboration with key partners in the implementation of policies of these two sectors. It takes into account the lack of facilities in institutions of the region, the accelerated aging of Martinican society and a significant part of the population level of insecurity.

Three priorities have been identified for the development of SROMS:

-Improve and develop the conditions for taking care of the elderly in light of the changing demographics of Martinique
-Empower the person with disabilities by completing and diversifying the supply and delivery of care
-Ensure coverage of medical and social needs of the four nearby territories.
