Description

This document is intended to be the response of the government of Burkina Faso to the recommendation of Heads of State and Government of the WHO African region asking each country to put in place the structures and mechanisms for the recognition and implementation of health Promotion. The vision of the National Health Promotion Strategy (SNPS) is as follows: "The well-being of all Burkinabe through a favourable environment, the adoption of healthy lifestyles and performance of community-based interventions ". This vision is part of this in the National Health Development Plan (PNDS) 2011-2020 to improve the health status of Burkinabe populations.

Le présent document se veut être la réponse du gouvernement burkinabè à la recommandation des Chefs d’Etat et de Gouvernement de la région africaine de l’OMS demandant à chaque pays de mettre en place les structures et les mécanismes nécessaires à la reconnaissance et à la mise en pratique de la Promotion de la santé. La vision de la stratégie nationale de promotion de la santé (SNPS) se décline comme suit : «Un bien-être de tous les burkinabé à travers un environnement propice, l’adoption de modes individuels de vie sains et des interventions à base communautaire performantes». Cette vision s’insère de ce fait dans le Plan national de développement sanitaire (PNDS) 2011-2020 pour l’amélioration de l’état de santé des populations burkinabè.
