Zielstellung des Konzepts der nordrhein-westfälischen Gesundheitsziele:

Gesundheitspolitik und Strukturentwicklung im Gesundheitswesen sollen im Sinne dieser Programmatik für jeden nachvollziehbare Ziel- und Ergebnisorientierung, mehr Effizienz und Effektivität erhalten – bei gleichzeitiger Verbesserung des Umgangs mit knapper werdenden Ressourcen. Hierzu entwickelte Strategien und Maßnahmen sollen in ihren positiven Effekten auf die Gesundheit der nordrhein-westfälischen Bevölkerung überprüfbar gemacht werden.
