Este Decreto Presidencial aprova a estratégia de protecção à pessoa com deficiência. A Estratégia define as bases gerais e linhas de orientação para prestação de diferentes serviços destinados à pessoa com deficiência, nomeadamente a reabilitação física, assistência médica e medicamentosa, formação técnico-profissional, trabalho e emprego, educação e ensino, habitação, acessibilidade, VIH/SIDA, mobilidade com ajudas técnicas, cultura, desporto, apoio social, justiça e acompanhamento psicossocial.

This presidential decree approves the Strategy to Protect Persons with Disabilities. The Strategy defines the general bases and guidelines for providing different services to people with disabilities, including physical rehabilitation, medical assistance, technical and vocational training, labor and employment, education and teaching, housing, accessibility, HIV/AIDS, mobility assistive devices, culture, sports, social support, justice and psychosocial support.
