Ley 26.529 constituyen derechos esenciales en la relación entre el paciente y el o los profesionales de la salud, el o los agentes del seguro de salud, y cualquier efector de que se trate, los siguientes: asistencia sin menoscabo y distinción, trato digno y respetuoso, intimidad, confidencialidad, autonomía de la voluntad, información sanitaria, interconsulta médica.
