Description
The purpose of the Plan is to guide the development of SMHSOP across NSW over the next ten years. The Plan is primarily directed at Area Mental Health Services (AMHSs) in NSW. However, it is recognized that it will inform the policy and planning work of other key services, agencies and jurisdictions regarding mental health initiatives and care and support for older people, and it is intended to assist key stakeholders in this regard.
The Plan focuses on the development of SMHSOP within AMHSs and the fostering of key partnerships and linkages to enhance mental health care for older people across NSW.
