Description

Ley Orgánica de Prevención Integral de Drogas plantea, entre otras cosas, desarrollar planes para evitar el consumo de drogas en niños, adolescentes, mujeres embarazadas y jóvenes. Además, en el cuerpo legal se pide trabajar en la prevención desde el ámbito educativo.
La Ley tiene como propósito prevenir de manera integral el fenómeno socio económico de las drogas, el control y regulación de sustancias catalogadas sujetas a fiscalización y medicamentos que las contengan, así como el establecimiento de un marco jurídico e institucional suficiente y eficaz.En este marco, la normativa es de orden público, de vigencia y observancia en todo el territorio nacional y será aplicable a la relación de las personas con el fenómeno socio económico de las drogas, a las actividades de producción, importación, exportación, comercialización, almacenamiento, distribución, transporte, prestación de servicios industriales, reciclaje, reutilización y al uso de sustancias catalogadas sujetas a fiscalización y de los medicamentos que las contengan.
