Description

La presente Ley es de orden público, interés social y observancia general en el territorio nacional, y tiene por objeto: I) Reconocer a niñas, niños y adolescentes como titulares de derechos, de conformidad con los principios de universalidad, interdependencia, indivisibilidad y progresivida.2) Garantizar el pleno ejercicio, respeto, protección y promoción de los derechos humanos de niñas, niños y adolescents. 3) Crear y regular la integración, organización y funcionamiento del Sistema Nacional de Protección Integral de los Derechos de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes. 4) Establecer los principios rectores y criterios que orientarán la política nacional en materia de derechos de niñas, niños y adolescents. 5) Establecer las bases generales para la participación de los sectores privado y social en las acciones tendentes a garantizar la protección y el ejercicio de los derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes, así como a prevenir su vulneración.

This Law is a matter of public policy, social interest and general observance in the national territory, and aims to: I) Recognize children and adolescents as the holders of rights, in accordance with the principles of universality, interdependence, indivisibility and progressiveness. 2) Guarantee the full exercise, respect, protection and promotion of human rights of children and adolescents. 3) Create and regulate the integration, organization and operation of the National System of Comprehensive Protection of the Rights of Children and Adolescents. 4) Set the guiding principles and criteria that will guide the national policy on rights of children and adolescents. 5) Establish the general conditions for the participation of the private and social sectors in the actions necessary to ensure the protection and the exercise of the rights of children and adolescents, as well as to prevent their violation.
