Bund und Kantone haben die Verlängerung der Strategie bis 2019 beschlossen und die dabei zu erreichenden Resultate definiert. Der Dialog Nationale Gesundheitspolitik wurde am 24. November 2016 über die Fortschritte und die noch offenen Massnahmen der Nationalen Demenzstrategie informiert. Der an Demenz erkrankte Mensch und seine Bezugspersonen stehen im Zentrum der Strategie. Die mit der Erkrankung einhergehenden Belastungen sollen verringert und die Lebensqualität der Betroffenen verbessert werden. Den Betroffenen stehen während des gesamten krankheitsverlaufs koordinierte und bedarfsgerechte Angebote zur Verfügung.

Le 24 novembre 2016, le Dialogue Politique nationale de la santé était informé des progrès dans la mise en oeuvre de la stratégie nationale en matière de démence ainsi que des mesures restantes s’y rapportant.
