Que mediante la Resolución de la Secretaría de Gobierno de Salud N° 189 de fecha 25 de octubre de 2018 se aprobó la Estrategia Nacional de Salud Digital 2018-2024, por la cual se establece la necesidad de aprobar el Plan Nacional de TELESALUD en cuanto al desarrollo de aspectos regulatorios, económicos, sanitarios y técnicos de la TELESALUD en la Argentina.Que por lo expuesto previamente resulta pertinente la aprobación del Plan Nacional TELESALUD a fin de que el mismo sea desarrollado en conjunto con las jurisdicciones de todo el país, que adhieran a dicho Plan Nacional, conformando una red de TELESALUD en instituciones que operen entre sí bajo normas y estándares de seguridad e interoperabilidad con posibilidad de participar en teleasistencia.
Que la red TELESALUD permitió que quinientos establecimientos de salud, puedieran participar de tres mil cuatrocientos eventos transmitidos por videoconferencia en calidad de entornos de capacitación, gestión y asesoramiento entre profesionales para la asistencia de pacientes complejos, sumando en total dieciocho mil participaciones de videoconferencias, entre todos los establecimientos nodos de la red.
