Propósito
Desarrollar una política nacional y federal de telesalud , con el fin de avanzar hacia la
Cobertura Universal de Salud, mediante el uso de las tecnologías de la información y
comunicación, bajo estándares de interoperabilidad, seguridad y privacidad de la
información, que impulsen prácticas seguras y de calidad centradas en la persona.
Objetivo general
Promover que los pacientes y los profesionales puedan acceder a consultas,
educación, recursos y cuidados a distancia, desde su comunidad, venciendo barreras
geográficas y problemas derivados de la distribución desigual de recursos sanitarios.

Purpose
Develop a national and federal e-health policy, in order to move towards
Universal Health Coverage, through the use of information technologies and
communication, under interoperability, and data protection standards, that promote safe and quality practices person centered.
Overall objective
Promote that patients and professionals can access consultations,
education, resources and remote care from their community, overcoming georgraphical barriers
and problems related to unequal distribution of resources.
