En unissant les efforts, le peuple béninois vient de se doter d’un outil majeur de développement dont la mise en œuvre réussie offrira au Bénin l’opportunité triplement gagnante d’atteindre la Vision Bénin 2025 et de se mettre sur le sentier des Objectifs de Développement Durable (ODD) à l’horizon 2030 et de la Vision Africa 2063.
Le PND 2018-2025 est structuré autour des thématiques majeures ciaprès : i) le capital humain et le bien-être des populations ; ii) la productivité et la compétitivité économiques ; iii) l’environnement, les changements climatiques et le développement des territoires, et iv) la gouvernance. À travers cette architecture, il exprime l’urgence de procéder à une approche intégrée des solutions à apporter aux défis actuels de développement et constitue un cadre favorable pour la consolidation et la durabilité des acquis du Programme d’Action du Gouvernement (PAG) 2016-2021.

Using the vision of Benin 2025 Alafia as it’s base, the National Development Plan 2018-2025 integrates the new economic and social development difficulties to the national, African, and international plan.
It’s elaboration was a major challenge that we accomplished, with contributions from all actors at various levels: the public sector, private sector, Republic institutions, civil society organisations, social partners, the National Association of Benin Municipalities (ANCB), universities, Government, and technical and financial partners. In unifying the efforts, the Beninese people have a new major development tool to use whose successful implementation will offer Benin the triple winning opportunity to reach the Benin Vision 2025 and get on the path of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030 and the Africa Vision 2063.
The NDP 2018-2025 is structured around the following major themes: i) human capital and population well-being ; ii) economic productivity and competition ; iii) the environment, climate change and territorial development, and iv) governance. Through this architecture, it expresses the urgency of carrying out an integrated approach to the solutions to be brought to current development challenges and constitutes a favourable framework for the consolidation and sustainability of the achievements of the Government Action Program (PAG) 2016- 2021.
