La ley No. 41 “De la Salud Pública”, de 13 de julio de 1983, en su Capítulo IV establece, que el Ministerio de Salud Pública tiene la responsabilidad de organizar, controlar y dirigir los procesos docentes que comprenden la formación, especialización y educación continuada de sus recursos humanos.
