Description

This plan aims to provide a strategic framework including the health policy that the public authorities should develop in Murcia Region. This plan has been conceived as a change tool, in which goals have been designed to improve the health and quality of life of population. Unlike previous plans, its content is centered in population health, going beyond organization and productivity of health services, sharing responsibility with other areas not strictly health related and with citizens. As a consequence, it is articulated around promotion and prevention, equity, efficiency, quality and users’ satisfaction, establishing quantifiable goals that should be achieved by 2015.
