Description

This Act is intended to regulate the actions in the area of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja, the operationalization of the content of Article 43 of the Spanish Constitution that recognizes the right to health protection and provides attribution of powers to the authorities to organize and protect public health through preventive measures and the necessary facilities and services to citizens.

La presente Ley tiene por objeto la regulación de las actuaciones que, en el ámbito de la Comunidad Autónoma de La Rioja, permitan hacer efectivo el contenido del artículo 43 de la Constitución Española que reconoce el derecho a la protección de la salud y establece la atribución de competencias a los poderes públicos para organizar y tutelar la salud pública a través de medidas preventivas y de las prestaciones y servicios necesarios a los ciudadanos.
