The National Health Promotion Policy and Strategy will serve as a framework to guide the implementation of health promotion programmes in South Africa. The National Health Promotion Policy and Strategy will also provide guidance to provincial Departments of Health, the private sector, and all stakeholders who are charged with the responsibility to provide health promotion services.
